In 1995, the Cáritas Comisión Nacional and others started the fair trade project and consequently opened the first store of Arte y Esperanza located San Telmo on Balcarce street.
As the store developed, it became an authentic place for the tranmision of cultures and a form of supportive trading for the indigenous producers.
